John Tiglias ~ Web Engineer

John graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; rather than looking for a job, he decided the world was too scary and, like the late Rodney Dangerfield, went back to school where he obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Shortly after graduating from Stevens, John started down the path of the freelance coder working for numerous companies including Warner Music Group. After a while, he discovered that having to pay for your own health insurance really takes a toll on your wallet, and not knowing if you'd have a job tomorrow just isn't worth it, so he decided to settle down at OmniTI.

Personal Note

Hi, how are you? I'm John, it's nice to meet you. I've been obsessed with computers since I was a child and don't see myself giving it up any time soon. Even when I'm not at work I'm on the computer either browsing the Internet or teaching myself a new language. If, for some reason I'm not on my computer, I'm either performing improv comedy (with the same group of people for the past seven years, in a monthly show in NY) or playing guitar and singing at an open mic night nearby. I also like long walks on the beach, sun sets, talking until morning, watching movies...excuse me? Wait, what do you mean this isn't a personal ad?
