OmniTI is looking for a Project Manager to help us grow!
We are looking for someone with a detailed understanding of all aspects of the system development life cycle from project initiation through implementation. In addition to fulfilling project management responsibilities, this individual will need to play the role of business analyst and quality assurance analyst as needed on each engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage developers and set deadlines
- Understand and articulate client, business and technical objectives
- Collaborate with clients and technical staff to define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents
- Work with technical leads to create accurate project estimates
- Continuously communicate with project participants (both client and internal) on an ongoing basis
- Set and continually manage expectations with clients, team members and other participants
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise mitigation plans
- Manage internal financial project performance
Requirements:
- Sound understanding of technical and relational database concepts is a must
- Flexible enough to tailor any number of project methodologies across multiple clients
- Excellent written and verbal communications is key
- Ability to effectively deal with challenging situations on projects
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with current Internet technologies
